We carefully vet members who we believe would live well together. We interview all members prior to acceptance and strive for our members to stay and build friendships.

In addition to conducting credit and background checks, we require all potential members to be gainfully employed (or in school) upon entry into the kos community. We also conduct personal interviews with each potential member. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, ages, races, religions, gender, gender identity and gender orientation, and strongly believe that a diverse community produces higher quality friendships.

Kos is a vertically-integrated real estate development firm founded by Alex (an architect and real estate developer), Albert (a fintech entrepreneur), Ed (a real estate developer), and Anthony (a general contractor). We believe in the power of architecture and real estate to fulfill a need for greater housing supply and to create diverse communities of people from all backgrounds.
